Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer in Coventry to maintain advanced automated cutting equipment, especially Zünd or Kongsberg tables. This is a permanent, site-based role with a Monday–Friday day shift, offering a strong benefits package and long-term stability.

You will work closely with production to maximise equipment availability, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and carry out fault finding across mechanical, electrical, and control systems on

Qualifications

• Essential hands-on maintenance experience with Zünd or Kongsberg digital cutting tables
• Previous Maintenance Engineer experience within a manufacturing or automated production environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience of planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Good understanding of automated manufacturing equipment
• Ability to diagnose faults efficiently and minimise downtime
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of maintenance activities
• Proactive and methodical approach to equipment reliability
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production teams

Responsibilities

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00
