Job summary

Located in Leighton Buzzard, Lindal Group seeks a Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of production equipment across their manufacturing facilities. You will provide engineering support through preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to maximise uptime, drive OEE and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years engineering experience within manufacturing or FMCG.
• As an Engineer with multi-disciplinary focus, you offer deep expertise in electrical systems (60%) paired with a strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering (40%).
• Automation, robotics or PLC experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Modify, test and optimise equipment and control systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS documentation.
• Ensure spare parts usage is recorded accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
