Job summary

Just Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in Witham to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer. You will work autonomously within a small team to maintain and repair processing machines, ensuring they meet designed output and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382, with multi-skilled capabilities in electrical and mechanical disciplines and PLC knowledge. Hours: 7.00am - 4.30pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical).
• Track record of electrical fault finding, PLC knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience working on machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line maintenance support to the shift operations team.
• Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency.
• Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical fault finding.
• Assist in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment.
• Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works.

Just Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and expanding company based in Witham to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer.

The key purpose of this role is to work autonomously, and as part of a small team, to undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs of our processing machines.

You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as: Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382

Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
• Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
• Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding
• Assist in dismantling and re‑assembling all production equipment
• Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works

You will also require a flexible approach to the working hours to help meet operational demand and support the needs of the business.

Hours

7.00am - 4.30pm

Experience / Qualifications

• Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's
• Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment
