Overview

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support operational continuity by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance. The role also involves driving improvements across the site related to machinery, quality, and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across the factory
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with hygiene standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and equipment standards
• Carry out repairs during production, either independently or as part of a team
• Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) with a proactive approach
• Manage engineering time effectively to reduce downtime

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering
• 17th or 18th Edition Certification
• Proactive fault-finding skills and commitment to continuous improvement
• Practical attitude and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
