Role Description
We are looking for Multi-Skilled Electrically biased Engineers to join our team at Princes in Cardiff. Are you an experience Engineer with Electrical experience looking to develop your career?
Due to the incredible £60 million investment at the Cardiff site there are fantastic development opportunities with the site team. You will be working with state-of-the-art machinery due to 95% of the plant being brand new!

What you will be responsible for
Working as part of a team of engineers you will work alongside the Engineering Shift Team Leader to provide planned and reactive maintenance on the production lines and plant equipment. This role will allow you to develop your innovation and technical skills to implement permanent fixes underpinning high performance. You will be working with mechanical and electrical issues and fault finding through mainly Siemens PLC.
Shift pattern
This is a rotating shift pattern - 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off doing 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM
Please note for this position you must have good experience within Engineering ideally Electrically biased with mechanical knowledge and with relevant qualifications to match.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an engineer and will be ideally electrically biased with mechanical knowledge. You will ideally have exposure to PLC's (doesn't have to be coding) and will be comfortable problem solving through to solutions. Experience in the food/drink industry is beneficial but not essential we are open to other industries.
To maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.
