Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG site in Norfolk. You will carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance on automated production lines to maximise uptime and efficiency on a 4 on 4 off days and nights pattern in Kings Lynn.

The role offers a market-leading salary up to £52,000 plus a benefits package including pension, life insurance, overtime opportunities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance experience in an industrial/fmcg setting.
• Hands-on maintenance including pre-planned, reactive and breakdown tasks.
• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Job Role

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast‑paced, high‑volume FMCG manufacturing site in Norfolk. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi‑automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience on production machinery.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding (advantageous).

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
