Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is actively seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a manufacturing background to join a global leading business near Scunthorpe. The role involves maintaining and optimising site assets, planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding on specialist machinery, and driving root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance.

You will work with contractors, operations, R&D and the safety team on a Monday–Friday days pattern.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer with manufacturing background and on-site experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Engineering qualification NVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent.
• Commutable to Scunthorpe.

In this role, you will work closely with contractors, operations, R&D, and the safety team to ensure maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and in line with company standards. You will be responsible for planned maintenance, fault finding, and driving root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance across site assets.

This role would therefore suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for a new challenge and the chance to join a global leading business.

The Role:
