Job summary

Proactive Global is hiring Maintenance Engineers to join our engineering team at a high-volume, automated distribution warehouse in South Yorkshire, UK. You will work on advanced material handling systems to keep production lines running smoothly.

You will perform reactive and preventative maintenance on conveyors, motors, sensors and control panels, diagnose faults, and collaborate with engineers to minimise downtime in a fast-paced operation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Automation Engineer
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
• Experience with conveyors, automated systems, or production machinery
• NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualification
• Comfortable working in a Panama shift-based environment

We’re currently hiring Maintenance Engineers to join the engineering team at a global distribution warehouse in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly automated warehouse environment that powers one of the UK’s leading retail distribution operations.

You’ll be working with advanced material handling and automation systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, motors, sensors, and control panels, ensuring the smooth operation of high-volume fulfilment centres.
