Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee reactive and preventative maintenance on automated warehouse equipment in the UK, operating within a Panama shift pattern.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, service conveyors, motors, sensors and control panels, and collaborate with engineering teams to maximise uptime in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of automated warehouse equipment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills; mechanical knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with conveyors, automated systems or production machinery.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Comfortable working in Panama shift pattern (days and nights).

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Automation Engineer
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
• Experience with conveyors, automated systems, or production machinery
• NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualification
• Comfortable working in a Panama shift-based environment
