Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd seeks a Maintenance Engineer for their Redditch site. You will diagnose and repair faults on extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, a compound plant, chillers, compressors and related equipment under time pressures.

There will be a focus on various PPM tasks and project works, with extensive training on offer to broaden your skills in electrical, mechanical and fluid power maintenance.

• Electrical fault finding on PLCs, AC/DC drives and motors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on extrusion lines, injection moulding machines and associated equipment.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and participate in project works.
• Extensive training will be provided to broaden skills.

Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 + Pension + Benefits

Shift Pattern: Double Days 6am-2pm, 2pm-10am

Location: Redditch

KEY SKILLS

• Electrical: Fault finding on PLCs, AC/DC drives, AC/DC three phase motors, pumps and temperature control panels.
• Mechanical: Replacing bearings, gearboxes, drive belts, pulleys etc.
• Fluid Power: Troubleshooting high-pressure hydraulic circuits and pneumatic systems safely.

The Role

Diagnose and repair faults on extrusion lines, injection moulding machines, a compound plant, chillers, compressors, and ancillary equipment under tight time pressures.

This role also involves various PPM tasks and project works. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
