Job summary

Anderson Knight offers an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to support production lines and improve asset care. You'll be responsible for reactive and corrective maintenance, ensuring high standards in safety and quality. Ideal candidates will possess strong fault-finding skills and a background in FMCG, with a recognised engineering qualification.

Qualifications

• Time served Engineer with relevant engineering qualification.
• FMCG experience would be desirable.
• Experience performing changeovers and in time critical production.

Responsibilities

• Provide line support & carry out reactive maintenance.
• Support changeovers and asset care tasks on production equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and support BRC compliance activities.

Skills

Detailed engineering knowledge

Computer literate

Knowledge of continuous improvement tools

Strong fault-finding experience

Understanding of best practice asset care principles

Education

Recognised trade qualification in relevant engineering discipline

Job description

Anderson Knight has an Excellent opportunity with our client for a Maintenance Engineer.

The role is to provide support for the production lines & carry out asset care tasks to a high standard, ensuring that safety, quality, & output targets are achieved

Duties

• Provide line support

• Carry out reactive maintenance & corrective maintenance as required.

• Support changeovers in areas where engineering expertise is needed.

• Carry out asset care tasks on production equipment as directed.

• Drive continuous improvement through:

• Identify & implement line improvement project.

• Support production improvement projects as required.

• Support site BRC compliance activities

About You

Time served Engineer with recognised trade qualification in relevant engineering discipline.

• Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of equipment utilised in services, filling, packing and palletisation.

• Computer literate

• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools

• Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPI’s

• Working knowledge of best practice asset care principles

• Strong fault-finding experience

• Experience in performing changeovers. Experience working within time critical production.

• FMCG experience would be desirable
