Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to work a rotational 12-hour shift with extended time off between each rotation. One of the well-known manufacturers is looking to recruit a maintenance engineer and is ready to hire immediately. You will join an experienced and supportive team with a strong track record. As a key team player, you will ensure the factory runs efficiently and production levels are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Proactive maintenance and site preventive maintenance (PMs)
• Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
• Work on both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
• Participate in engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
• Identify and implement process and machine output improvements
• Follow site health & safety rules and legislation

Requirements

• Time-served or recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
• Experience in a multi-skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with confidence
