Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd seeks a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG site in Ruskington. You will maintain electrical and mechanical systems on high-speed production lines, respond to breakdowns, and perform planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) with a strong focus on continuous improvement, teamwork, and a supportive engineering team environment within a market-leading business.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on maintenance across pre-planned, reactive and breakdown work in a fast-paced factory.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience in a manufacturing setting.

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy FMCG manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of high-speed production and packaging machinery. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site efficiency and minimise downtime.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment.

Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
