Proactive Personnel Ltd is seeking a maintenance engineer for a client in the Walsingham area to maintain a 24-hour manufacturing plant. You will carry out breakdown repairs, health and safety improvements and deliver projects to improve plant performance and efficiency.

The role operates 40 hours per week across a 3-shift pattern (6am-2pm, 1pm-9pm, 8am-4pm) with an on-call rota (1 in 5). Overtime paid at enhanced rates.

We are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer on behalf of our client based in the Walsingham area.

You will be required to facilitate all engineering activities associated with maintaining a 24hrs manufacturing plant, to provide breakdown repairs, health and safety improvements and deliver projects to improve plant performance and efficiency.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment you will be working on includes, but is not limited to:

• Drag Chain Conveyors
• Screw conveyors
• Belt and bucket Elevators
• Mixing Equipment
• Weighing Equipment
• Boilers and steam plant
• Electrical Control Panels with Inverters and PLCs
• Compressed air and pneumatic equipment
• Hydraulic equipment

40Hrs per week

• Monday to Friday operating a 3-shift pattern.
• 6am - 2pm, 1pm - 9pm, 8am- 4pm
• On-call rota for 1 in 5 covering evenings and weekends.

Salary £46,000 - hourly rate: £22.21 per hour.

Overtime at 1.5 after 40 hours, paid at £33.32.

This is a temporary ongoing position with the possibility of a permanent role
