Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical in the UK manufacturing sector. You will join the engineering team in a multi-skilled role, with a focus on electrical skills; maintenance, servicing and repair of automated plant to minimise downtime.

The position involves providing technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns, and performing PPMs. Commutable from Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Time served, apprentice trained or above.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing/production.
• Electrically biased / multi skilled.
• Experience with hydraulics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.

• Salary: £51000 - £54000 per annum + + OT = earnings of £63k and upwards

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Industry: Manufacturing

Pay: £51,000 to £54,000 DOE + OT = earnings of £63,000 and upwards achievable

Shift: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm - rotation discussed at interview)

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served, apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
• Electrically biased / multi skilled
• Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficial

Commutable from:

Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
