Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical / Multi-skilled near Ashby-de-la-Zouch. The role offers a £55,000 annual pay with a Panama shift pattern cycling across days and nights.

You will maintain, service and repair automated plant machinery to minimise downtime and provide technical support on projects and breakdowns. Ideal candidates will be time served or apprenticed in maintenance with electrical qualifications and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Time served or apprentice trained in maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Electrically qualified; able to work across electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PPMs).

Mon/Tues/Wed Nights, Thurs/Fri Off, Sat/Sun Nights, Mon/Tues/Wed Off, Thurs/Fri Days, Sat/Sun Off, Mon/Tues/Wed Days, Thurs/Fri Off, Sat/Sun Days, Mon/Tues/Wed Off, Thurs/Fri Nights, Sat/Sun Off rotate

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

Ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served, apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
• Electrically qualified. Commutable from: Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicester, Loughborough and surrounding areas.
