Job summary

E3 Recruitment, on behalf of a market leading Barrow upon Soar manufacturing business, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to carry out plant-wide maintenance, support production targets and keep factory machinery running efficiently.

You will work Monday–Thursday on a 6am–6pm/6pm–6am mix with 48 hours per week and enjoy 33 days holiday, overtime paid at 1.5x, life assurance, pension matching up to 18%, and a broad employee benefits package along with training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g.NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
• Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer;

• Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
