Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our modern manufacturing facilities near Leicester Forest East. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered, with a 4 on/4 off pattern (6-6 days and nights).

The role covers maintaining and repairing automated plant machinery, providing technical support on projects and breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance. Pays £52,000 starting, with yearly raises and overtime opportunities; pension scheme included.

Qualifications

• Time served apprentice trained or above.
• Experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Electrical understanding and fault finding beneficial; electrical training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
• Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PPMs).

• Pay: starting pay £52,000 (Salary increases yearly) + Overtime available - earnings of £60000 and upwards achievable
• Shift pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (6-6 - Days & Nights)

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
• An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)

Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
