DAMICOR LIMITED is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support production facilities in the Swindon area. Role offers 40 hours per week with days only and no night shifts.

Salary is around £40,000–£41,000 basic with package and overtime. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, fault-finding abilities, and a good safety record. Commutable from Swindon and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
• Electrical systems including single/3-phase motors, inverters and control panels.
• Testing and fault finding.
• Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, chains and valves.
• Open to various technical/industrial backgrounds (Mar ine, Army, Navy).
• Good health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machinery.
• Inspect and service electrical systems (motors, inverters, panels).
• Perform testing and fault finding to minimize downtime.
• Work with mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Applicants from Marine/Army/Navy backgrounds welcome.
