Job summary

Probe UK in Wales is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our established shift maintenance team. You'll work on planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, within a stable, well-supported facility.

The role offers c£54,000 starting salary, overtime paid at premium rates, an outstanding pension, generous holiday entitlement, free onsite parking and genuine ongoing training & career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Formal mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds / NVQ 3 as a minimum (apprentice trained).
• Proven experience supporting plant and equipment in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with heavy hydraulics and pneumatics in a robust manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance across the plant.
• Work within an experienced maintenance team to uphold reliability.

Duties of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

As an mechanical maintenance engineer you'll be working within an experienced and established team of maintenance professionals undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant.

Requirements of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you must hold formal mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds / NVQ 3 as a minimum (and ideally be apprentice trained) with proven experience of supporting plant and equipment within an engineering, manufacturing or production environment that has seen you support heavy hydraulics and pneumatics applications within a robust manufacturing environment.
