Probe UK is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our established shift maintenance team in the Swansea area. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, ensuring reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds/NVQ3, apprentice trained, with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics in manufacturing environments. This role offers a secure, stable career with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Formal mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds/NVQ 3 minimum (apprentice trained preferred).
• Proven experience supporting plant and equipment in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with heavy hydraulics and pneumatics in a robust manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the plant within an established team.
• Contribute to reliability and performance improvements of equipment and processes.

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

As a mechanical maintenance engineer you will be working within an experienced and established team of maintenance professionals undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant.

Requirements of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you must hold formal mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds/NVQ 3 as a minimum (and ideally be apprentice trained) with proven experience of supporting plant and equipment within an engineering, manufacturing or production environment that has seen you support heavy hydraulics and pneumatics applications within a robust manufacturing environment.
