Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Hoddesdon to join a busy manufacturing site. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, breakdown response, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance within a supportive engineering team.

The successful candidate will have multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial environment, strong fault-finding abilities, and a qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.

• Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
• Shift: Monday to Friday – Days

Job Role of the Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The successful Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery and equipment.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi‑skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience carrying out planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast‑paced industrial factory

Requirements for the Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience
• Engineering qualification – Electrical or Mechanical
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Confident responding to machinery breakdowns and identifying faults
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an engineering team

Desirable Requirements for the Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault find using inputs and outputs
• Experience supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
