Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Northallerton is seeking a Days Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

The role emphasises a hands-on approach, fault-finding on PLCs where required, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery. You will benefit from a supportive team, a competitive salary up to £45,000, and a benefits

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical).
• Experience with PLCs and fault finding using inputs/outputs.
• UK maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and perform electrical and mechanical maintenance.

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical ).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
