Kingdom People is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift) for our Havant site. The role focuses on maintaining automated production equipment, improving reliability, and driving continuous improvement with ownership of the night shift engineering function.

You will lead planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support safety and environmental standards while contributing to long-term site performance and efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship with a relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical understanding.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation.
• Experience of Lean and continuous improvement techniques.

The Role

As the lead engineer on the night shift, you'll support a range of production, automated assembly, and test equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and performance across the site.

What You'll Need

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship and relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with a good understanding of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation.
• Experience of Lean and continuous improvement techniques.
