Job summary

Marmion in Harrogate is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep high-quality FMCG equipment running. You will perform electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing and repairs on automated production lines, including Krones machinery, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers a 12-hour Panama shift pattern with days and nights, a salary of £50,000–£52,670, private medical insurance, enhanced pension and a company bonus.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing and repairs.
• Experience in FMCG, food production or manufacturing.
• Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Knowledge of site services: compressors, steam boilers, water treatment, electrical distribution.
• Experience working with Krones machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer | £50,000 - £52,670 | Harrogate

Looking for an engineering role where you can keep developing, work on high-quality equipment and be part of a genuinely good engineering team?

We're recruiting Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a growing FMCG manufacturer in Harrogate.

The business is investing heavily in its people, equipment and production capacity, creating genuine opportunities for progression and development.

• £50,000, rising to £52,670 after probation
• Multi-skilled, electrical or mechanical-biased engineers considered
• Ongoing training & genuine career progression
• 12-hour Panama shift pattern with alternate weekends off - Day and Night shifts

Shift Pattern

• 12-Hour Panama Shifts, covering day and nights | 7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am
• Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
• Week 2 - Wed, Thurs

About You:

We're looking for engineers with solid maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or beverage, with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. PLC experience would be highly advantageous.
