Job summary

Marmion is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a FMCG site in Harrogate. The role offers a salary from £50,000 to £52,670 with progression during probation.

You will join a growing team responsible for high-quality equipment and ongoing development. Experience on Krones machinery and site services is valued, with a 12-hour Panama shift pattern including weekends off on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Solid maintenance experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food or beverage environments.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with hands-on repair ability.
• PLC experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing, and repairs on production equipment.
• Maintenance on highly automated lines, including Krones machinery.
• Support 12-hour Panama shift pattern with day and night coverage.
• Improve reliability through proactive maintenance and fault analysis.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer | £50,000 - £52,670 | Harrogate

Looking for an engineering role where you can keep developing, work on high-quality equipment and be part of a genuinely good engineering team?

We're recruiting Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a growing FMCG manufacturer in Harrogate.

The business is investing heavily in its people, equipment and production capacity, creating genuine opportunities for progression and development.

• £50,000, rising to £52,670 after probation
• Multi-skilled, electrical or mechanical-biased engineers considered
• Ongoing training & genuine career progression
• 12-hour Panama shift pattern with alternate weekends off - Day and Night shifts

Shift Pattern

• 12-Hour Panama Shifts, covering day and nights | 7am - 7pm & 7pm - 7am
• Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
• Week 2 - Wed, Thurs

About You:

We're looking for engineers with solid maintenance experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or beverage, with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. PLC experience would be highly advantageous.

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing, and repairs
• Experience working in an FMCG, Food Production, or Manufacturing environment
• Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Knowledge of site services: Compressors, steam boilers, water treatment, electrical distribution
• Experience working with Krones machinery is highly advantageous
