Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across client sites in London. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and exceptional service while handling planned and reactive maintenance.

You will perform safety checks, PAT testing, fault finding, and complete PPM tasks, ensuring adherence to SLAs and statutory regulations. Strong IT literacy and experience in facilities/building services are required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, fault finding, and reactive repair works.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with maintenance schedules and SLA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate job records, reports, and documentation using company IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes through routine inspections, monitoring, and proactive maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2/3 qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Full, valid UK Driving Licence.
• Strong IT literacy with the ability to use maintenance management systems effectively.
• Previous experience within facilities management, mobile maintenance, or a building services environment (construction sector experience preferred).
