Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in London to deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across client sites.

You will perform safety checks, reactive repairs, and planned maintenance while ensuring compliance with regulations and excellent customer service. The role requires City & Guilds 2330 L2/3 or NVQ L3 in Electrical Installation, 17th/18th Edition, a valid UK driving licence, and strong IT literacy to use maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience across client sites.
• Ability to perform electrical safety checks and fault finding.
• Experience with PAT testing and preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, fault finding, and reactive repair works.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks per schedules and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation using IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance through routine inspections and proactive activities.

ROLE: Maintenance Engineer
HOURS: 40 hours, full time
LOCATION: London

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who will provide high-quality electrical maintenance services across client sites, ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional customer service while delivering both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

• Carry out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, fault finding, and reactive repair works.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with maintenance schedules and SLA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate job records, reports, and documentation using company IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes through routine inspections, monitoring, and proactive maintenance activities.

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2/3 qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Full, valid UK Driving Licence.
• Strong IT literacy with the ability to use maintenance management systems effectively.
• Previous experience within facilities management, mobile maintenance, or a building services environment (construction sector experience preferred).
