Job Description

• Ensuring all machinery is running at optimum efficiency through regular maintenance and repairs
• Performing electrical and mechanical fault finding on all site equipment
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce downtime
• Implementing preventative maintenance schedules and procedures
• Responding promptly to breakdowns and providing an efficient fix to minimise downtime
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Working closely with the engineering team to share knowledge and best practices
• Assisting in the training of apprentices and junior engineers

The Successful Applicant

A successful Multi-Skilled Engineer should have:

• A strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to tasks
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Formal qualifications in Engineering, or a related field
