JOB TITLE: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The COMPANY

Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of packaging solutions with an annual turnover exceeding £1Bn, employing over 10,000 people across 19 countries. They have earned a reputation for the quality of their products and services, achieved through continual investment in cutting-edge technology and a well-trained, motivated workforce.

The ROLE

Our client is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their established team at the Corby facility, where they manufacture blow-moulded containers. Working a continental shift pattern, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing machinery. Key responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining mechanical and electrical aspects of all machinery (AC/DC drives and motors, PLCs, Profibus, control systems, etc.)
2. Assisting with installation and commissioning of equipment electrically, pneumatically, and mechanically
3. Troubleshooting faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
4. Troubleshooting control gear and PLC systems
5. Carrying out preventative maintenance (PPM) of machines and plant
6. Performing other property, facilities, and maintenance duties as needed

The CANDIDATE

Our client seeks an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer comfortable working a continental (mix of nights & days) shift pattern.

SALARY: £38,000 - £40,000
