What You Will Do

• Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on machinery to keep operations running smoothly.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and services to optimise equipment functionality.
• Analyse production data and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist in training staff on new equipment and processes to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain clear communication with opposite shifts about ongoing maintenance topics.
• Use the in-house system to accurately record work performed and manage spare parts inventory.
• Uphold high standards of health and safety, food safety, and hygiene.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and production processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Clear and articulate communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Adaptability to work with various manufacturing IT systems.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
• An IPAF or forklift licence, along with some electrical knowledge, would be beneficial but not essential.
