Qualifications

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased
Location: Ashby de la Zouch
Shift Pattern: Panama (12-hour shifts, days and nights)

What We're Looking For

We're after a proactive and solutions-focused engineer with strong electrical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Ideally, a BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in an FMCG environment (ideally food manufacturing)

Skills:

  • Strong electrical fault-finding, ideally with PLC diagnostics (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
  • Experience with motors, sensors, control panels, variable speed drives, robotics and automation
  • Mechanical knowledge (e.g. pneumatics/hydraulics) beneficial but this is an electrically biased role

The Job

  • Electrical Maintenance: You'll be responsible for electrical fault-finding, repairs, and upgrades across a range of automated machinery and production lines.
  • Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Keep equipment running smoothly, from conveyors and packaging lines to advanced robotic systems.
  • Problem Solving: Use your initiative to quickly diagnose issues and keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Collaboration: Work independently or with the team, always communicating clearly and professionally.
  • Improvement Focused: Be part of continuous improvement initiatives and technology upgrades.
