MorePeople is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading glasshouse grower in Cambridgeshire. You'll maintain heating, irrigation, climate control and automation systems across a large site, with a mix of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls work.

This role offers a modern site with ongoing investment in technology, real variety, and a close-knit engineering team; the successful candidate will have strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach, plus a Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a maintenance engineer, ideally within horticulture, food production, or a similar controlled environment or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Comfortable working with heating, irrigation, or automated systems (training available if this is new to you).
  • A proactive, reliable approach - happy working shifts where required.
  • Full UK driving licence
