Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) for days shift at a UK manufacturing site. You will maintain, service and repair automated plant machinery, providing technical support on projects and breakdowns in a multi-skilled environment.

Electrical bias with some mechanical duties is required. The role offers a competitive salary with overtime and progression opportunities within a global manufacturing group.

Competenze

• Time served, apprentice trained or above.
• Experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing/production.
• Electrically biased / multi skilled.
• Experience with hydraulic machinery is beneficial.

The basics:

• Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical - day shift
• Industry: Manufacturing
• Location: Nead Alsager
• Pay: £50,000 to £52,237 DOE + OT = earnings of £60,000 and upwards achievable
• Shift: DAYS ONLY
• Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm - rotation discussed at interview)
• Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
• Holidays: 22 shifts.

Overview:

We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time served, apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
• Electrically biased / multi skilled
• Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficial

Commutable from:

Middlewich, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
