Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer for a well-established industrial site in Wolverhampton. The role focuses on electrical fault-finding, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement across heavy production equipment.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, with overtime options during plant shutdowns and an on-call rota. Right to work in the UK is required for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in heavy/industrial environments with electrical fault diagnosis.
• Able to perform reactive and preventative maintenance across site machinery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across site machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Perform installation and improvement works on production equipment.
• Support mechanical maintenance activities when required.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Package:

Salary: Up to £45k

Location: Wolverhampton

NO SPONSORSHIP

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Overtime:

• Overtime available during planned plant shutdowns
• Alternate weekend working (typically 5-6 hours on Saturdays)
• On-call rota of 1 in 3 weeks
• Overtime rates:
  • 1.2x Monday-Friday
  • 1.5x Saturday
  • 2x Sunday

A well-established industrial manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton is looking to recruit a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
