Job summary

TipTopJob in Whitchurch, Shropshire, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a well-established processing facility with a history of over 50 years. The role is suited to electrically biased or multi-skilled engineers and training can be provided.

You will join a team of six engineers, performing planned and reactive maintenance on processing machinery, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and motor drives. Overtime is regular and rotational Saturday overtime applies.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance.
• Experience in livestock processing environment is a plus.

2 Shift Pattern (Average 42.5 Hours)

• Week 1 : Monday to Friday 05:00 to 14:00 (40 Hours)
• Week 2 : Monday to Friday 14:00 to 00:00 (45 Hours)

Maintenance Engineer required for a well:established processing facility with a trading history of over 50 years. This is a great opportunity to join a company recognised for the quality of their products.

This role would suit an electrically biased or multiskilled maintenance engineer. Candidates from any industry background are encouraged . Training can be provided.

Working as part of a team of six engineers, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of processing machinery. This will involve working with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and motor drives.

The company offer regular overtime, averaging around 3:4 hours per week. Additionally, Saturday overtime is carried out on a rotational basis between the team.
