Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a prestigious static site in Durham. The role offers a Monday–Friday days pattern with a salary of £40,000–£42,000, plus overtime, standby and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, driving high standards and reliability. The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 (or Level 2/3) and the 17th/18th Edition, with strong fault-finding skills and a professional

Qualifications

City & Guilds Part 1/2 or Level 2/3 Electrical qualifications.
Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience in commercial/industrial electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
Support other engineers and technicians with maintenance activities.
Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
Ensure tools and equipment are available, serviceable and fit for purpose.
Accurately complete maintenance documentation and paperwork.
Represent the company professionally and build strong client relationships.
Keep CAFM system updated with live job information.
