Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management group on a prestigious static site in Daventry.

You will perform PPM and reactive electrical maintenance within a large distribution centre, ensuring safety, compliance and uptime while supporting other engineers and collaborating with the client and internal teams.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or Level 2/3 Electrical qualification.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach with excellent customer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with both major and minor maintenance activities.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all required tools and equipment are available, serviceable and fit for purpose.
• Accurately complete all relevant maintenance documentation and paperwork.
• Provide support across other sites within the cluster when required.
• Work closely with both client and company colleagues to maintain high standards of quality and service.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with agreed KPIs, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Keep the Mercury CAFM system fully updated with accurate, live job information.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong working relationships with colleagues and the client.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the world's leading Facilities Management companies, working on a prestigious and high-profile static site in Daventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrician looking for a stable Monday-Friday days role, with excellent earning potential, career progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role

Working as part of a professional engineering team within a large distribution centre, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational.
