Job summary

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team in Maidstone, Kent. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, testing and inspection across multiple sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational continuity.

This role requires travel across Kent, a full UK driving license, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• Willingness to travel across Kent and hold a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance duties including planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Fault finding, testing and inspection to ensure safety and compliance.
• Work with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver a high-quality facilities management service.
• Respond to maintenance requests and support project works, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Sussex, and parts of London. This contract includes 33 sites, made up of local GPs, sexual health clinics, dentists, and community-based care centres. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical maintenance duties, including planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, testing and inspection. You will ensure all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current legislation and compliance standards. Day-to-day duties will include responding to maintenance requests, supporting project works, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that buildings remain safe, operational, and compliant. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver a high-quality service and support the effective operation of the facilities management function.
