Job summary

Rydon Homes Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to cover NHS maintenance and repair work across the South East, including ambulance and emergency facilities. You will perform reactive repairs, preventative maintenance and assist with small installations, on a rota with on-call standby.

Job description

As part of this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will provide repairs to ambulance stations, make-ready centres and emergency response outpost centres across Sussex and Surrey.,

• Reactive maintenance and repairs such as power and lighting faults.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM's) such as emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• Respond to breakdowns, fault-find and complete minor and small installations.
• You will also support with other general building fabric repairs.
• There will also be the requirement to participate in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support. The normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. When on-call you will receive a standby allowance and overtime paid per call out.

The successful candidate will have strong commercial electrical maintenance experience ideally gained working for an FM (Facilities Management) company. Experience working in an NHS or healthcare environment would also be beneficial, although candidates with experience gained in other commercial environments will also be considered (ie offices, hotels, education etc).

This team has been appointed to provide a planned and reactive maintenance service to our end client, a world class provider of emergency and urgent health care services in pre-hospital and out of hospital environments.
