Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team in Maidstone. You will perform planned and reactive electrical work, ensuring safety and compliance across sites in Kent.

The role covers travel across Kent, requires 42.5 hours per week, and offers a permanent contract with a salary up to £42,000 per annum plus a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• Inspection testing (2391/2392 or 2394/2395) certification.
• Willingness to travel and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of electrical maintenance duties including planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, testing and inspection.
• Respond to maintenance requests, support project works and ensure buildings remain safe, operational and compliant.

  About the Role:

  We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical maintenance duties, including planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, testing and inspection.

  You will ensure all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current legislation and compliance standards. Day-to-day duties will include responding to maintenance requests, supporting project works, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that buildings remain safe, operational, and compliant.

  You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver a high‑quality service and support the effective operation of the facilities management function.

  Role Criteria

  • Proven experience working as an electrician
