Job summary

Thrive SW is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a mobile role covering sites between Cardiff and Bristol. Expect 45–50 hours per week with door-to-door travel paid on top of a £45–48k salary depending on experience and qualifications.

You will be responsible for reactive electrical works, some testing/inspection, and assisting other engineers on site within a large FM portfolio. Excellent communication and a full driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with 17th/18th edition
• Experience in commercial environments is preferred
• Strong communication and driving licence essential
• HVAC knowledge is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
• Be on a call-out rota to provide the client with full out-of-hours cover.
• Oversee visiting sub-contractors with regards to the standard of work and Health and Safety.
• Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
• Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
• Carry out work safely and diligently.
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Are you a Maintenance Electrician looking for a new mobile role covering sites between Cardiff and Bristol? This large FM company who have recently won a new contract within the commercial sector is looking for a number of experienced electrically biased mobile maintenance engineers to cover commercial properties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an established team working on a portfolio of properties across the region. You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical works on a reactive basis. Some testing and inspection as well as assisting with other tasks and engineers on site.
