HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a mobile role covering Cambridgeshire and East Anglia. The job entails a mix of electrical and multi-skilled maintenance across multiple commercial sites.

The role offers progression toward Authorised Person – Low Voltage with a £2,000 annual AP LV allowance once qualified, plus a company van and a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a commercial or building services environment.
• Strong planned and reactive maintenance experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• ECS / JIB Gold Card.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience alongside your electrical background.
• Willing to undertake training towards AP – Low Voltage status.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Electrical fault finding, repairs, minor installations and testing.
• Complete general building maintenance, including: basic plumbing, doors and ironmongery, building fabric repairs, ceilings and flooring, minor mechanical works.
• Support basic HVAC maintenance and plant inspections.
• Complete maintenance records, compliance documentation and service reports.
• Supervise specialist contractors where required.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Provide a professional service across multiple client sites.

Maintenance Electrician – Mobile

Location: Huntingdon / Cambridgeshire & East Anglia
Salary: Up to £45,000 + £2,000 AP (LV) Allowance
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Benefits: Company Van | Permanent | Full-Time

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established mobile engineering team. This is a long-term, stable position covering multiple commercial sites across Cambridgeshire and East Anglia.

The role is approximately 60% electrical and 40% multi-skilled maintenance, making it ideal for an electrician who enjoys a varied workload rather than purely electrical installation.

There is also an excellent opportunity to develop your career and train towards becoming an Authorised Person (AP) – Low Voltage, with an additional £2,000 annual allowance once qualified.

Key Responsibilities
