Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Electrician for East Anglia (Peterborough / Cambridge). The role involves maintaining electrical and mechanical plant in retail outlets under a major supermarket contract, with on-call standby and travel between sites.

The position offers £39,825.03 salary including on-call standby (1:4), with overtime and travel time paid. 40 hours per week, pension, private healthcare, and employee discounts accompany the package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise the Line Manager with replacements.

Mobile Maintenance Electrician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Electricianto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment in retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive, PPMs and minor repairs as requested by the customer (including non-electrical).

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Electrician

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
