Job summary

Polytec Personnel Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for our client in Ely to support TPM across the site. You will work with production, maintenance and external contractors to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing or managing a TPM strategy.
• Ability to interpret technical information from machinery suppliers.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and plan workload.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience working with production, maintenance and external contractors.
• Experience using a CMMS or similar maintenance management system.
• Practical maintenance skills would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a site-wide Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) system.
• Schedule maintenance work orders using the site's CMMS.
• Plan and coordinate routine preventative maintenance activities.
• Manage service contracts and coordinate external contractors and service engineers.
• Support facilities and maintenance projects.
• Read and interpret technical information from machinery suppliers to develop TPM strategies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance data and records within the CMMS.
• Provide practical maintenance support to the wider maintenance team when required.
• Support the Facilities and Maintenance team with additional administrative tasks as required.

You'll work closely with production, maintenance and external contractors to help reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability and support the overall efficiency of the manufacturing operation.
