Job summary

BA Cityflyer invites applications for a Maintrol Engineer based in Manchester. You will act as the central coordination point between Line Stations, maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.

You will manage line maintenance activities, monitor ADDs, support aircraft recovery and provide real-time technical assistance to crews, contributing to efficient, compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Line Stations, maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe daily ops.
• Manage scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance per regulatory and programme requirements.
• Control ADDs, coordinate spares, tooling and documentation.
• Support aircraft recovery with technical guidance and crew duty-time oversight.
• Provide real-time technical assistance to flight crews and engineers.
• Coordinate information flow after incidents and assist recovery planning.
• Allocate aircraft according to priorities across operations and maintenance.
• Improve aircraft and engineering performance using prognostic tools.
