Qualifications

  • Experience within a caretaking or cleaning role is essential.
  • Practical skills in identifying and/or carrying out standard repairs.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety.
  • Good communication skills allowing you to provide great customer service.
  • The ability to assess priorities and plan work effectively.

Maintenance Caretaker

37.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Caretaker to join our Accommodation Management team, based in Manchester. This role sits within Sanctuary Students which provides accommodation nationally.

Responsibilities
  • React to maintenance duties across the site, undertaking repairs and reporting issues which require specialist attention
  • Undertake building checks and audits to maintain a safe and secure environment in line with health and safety requirements
  • Carry out routine works and provide accurate and timely information on progress
  • Maintain an adequate supply of stock and replenish as appropriate
  • Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and cleanliness is maintained
