Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Assistant (Water Safety) to join our estates department.
The post holder will be a skilled operative and have previous experience in an engineering or building discipline and will have the skills and knowledge to work as part of the estates team to deliver a comprehensive estates maintenance service, ensuring compliance with Trust standards, procedures and legislation across the estate portfolio.
You will join and dynamic multidiscipline team, operating in a busy, fast-paced environment that provides a diverse workload, you will have the support and opportunities through training to develop new skills to enhance your personal development.
The primary focus of this role is to undertake routine and statutory maintenance tasks in relation to water safety.
The role supports multi-skilled trades on a range of maintenance works and is expected to carry out a limited range of unsupervised skilled tasks and utilise the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system and other specialist software to ensure a joined up quality service is delivered. The role may also involve works on building systems, building fabric maintenance, medical gases, engineering plant and general maintenance.

Carry out routine and statutory maintenance tasks to, Water Hygiene Compliance, engineering plant, building systems, medical gases and Gardening services. Assist higher skilled grades on new work and repairs.
Carry out a limited range of unsupervised skilled tasks.
