Join Arbury Court in Warrington as a Maintenance Assistant where you will be part of creating a well-presented and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the service's facilities are fit for purpose, gardening, and regularly conducting audits to identify and repair faults, ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff, and visitors.

Working alongside an established team, you will handle all maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be:

• Assisting in ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose.
• Utilising good DIY skills to ensure the safety of service users.
• Assisting in regular checks and maintenance.
• Supporting the repair and maintenance of all buildings.
• Liaising with a manager to report faults and defects.
• Participating in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance.
• Coordinating and supporting contractors on site, completing all paperwork and tool checks.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience in a maintenance role.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Show courtesy and respect to residents at all times to ensure high-quality service.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings.

You will be working at Arbury Court, a service providing care and treatment for women at varying levels of security, enabling clear care pathways and a positive patient experience.

The team focuses on medium, low secure, and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) for women over 18, with Personality Disorder and Mental Illness. The care approach at Arbury Court is person-centred, emphasizing rehabilitation and recovery.
