Job summary

Center Parcs Longleat Forest is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead daily maintenance tasks and coordinate a small team. The role offers a circa £46,300 per annum salary, with shifts from 7:30am to 6pm and a guaranteed 160 hours over a 4-week period.

You will communicate with internal teams to plan maintenance, support training and development, and ensure efficient operations using time and attendance systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Electrical, Gas Safe, Mechanical or Plumbing work.
• Experience leading and developing a team in a supportive way.
• Strong organisational skills and competence with planning and IT.
• Positive, motivational approach to work and colleagues.
• Full driving licence held for at least 6 months.

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, with shifts falling between 7:30am and 6pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of160 hours over a 4‑week period.
• You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirementsThis role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you

• Has a recognised qualification and hands‑on experience in Electrical, Gas Safe, Mechanical or Plumbing work
• Enjoys leading and developing a team in a supportive way
• Is well‑organised, with good planning and computer skills
• Brings a positive, motivational approach to work and colleagues
• Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
